It has been a little while...

...because our own collections have to be filled too. The hands of a PieReneter just can't help creating. We're not unlike that god-dude (we do not dicriminate any religion or conviction) but we look better and are a bit less vindictive.

Pieter put his latest work ànd some work from a rich and deep past on the wellknown, notorious and totally renewed pieterzandvliet.com.
The connaisseurs tend to dive for the mousebutton but just wait:
René wasn't able to do nothing either. And he tried so hard...
He put together a whole new blog (again? yes, again!): A world of tiny little thoughts
on which he regularly puts new cartoons.
Why?
Noone knows.
It is one of natures best kept mysteries.

New devellopments from the PieReneters themselves are on the way too.
And I'm not talking about Pieters attempts to try to shape his body into this Mattel actionfigure!

Well.

With this work we close off a beautiful period. There's a load of fresh material, ready to shake humanity with color and totally different images. Not for the narrow of mind. Dutch Piereneters leave it to this, for the moment; there has to be worked on solo-projects too.

People can now start sending us kind requests to see them.
We even don't rule out the chance that we'll exhibit the lot.
We'd say; make us an offer we can't refuse....

Do the Dutch Piereneters Collective need a logo?

Yes, we think we do.

And we thought that it had to be this logo.

As if it is destined to be so. 

Somewhere I hear heavenly voices...

Allright here it is: Piereneter 11!

The one which shows our firm grasp on reality. Or the different ways in which we try to get a firm grasp on reality. Or the one in which we try to get a firm grasp on what the hell reality could be if we had a firm grasp on it. Or a grasp at all. And who is that reality-guy anyway? And do we want a grasp on it? Him? Her?
Well, that's clearing things up.

It's the small things in life that matter!

New year, new work!

And here the fresh new year really starts: brand new work. We call it, like the proud fathers we are; Piereneter 9. Fathers and child are fine. A bit of a cold though, thank you.

This is a work which isn't there yet. You just get a peek. Because we can't help ourselves. You'll be surprised about the name we've got for this one. Or not. People are so blasé nowadays...

Old year, new work.

On the verge of the old year these works happened. Shaped like a finished 2010; round. We're still not sure if the figure is a Playmobil-puppet or just an actor in some episode of Startrek. We are working on a declaration which makes both possibillities acceptable. That is so 2011.

Around about the same time this portrait was born. Under different stars so it seems. His chart still has to be made but we are confident his future is bright.
